An amusing, and also very relieving, thing happened at work. We've been grappling with a memory leak in our server program for a little while which has basically paralyzed us. It caused something in the order of 2gb of leakage if allowed to run for a long enough time. But today, after some interesting trial-by-elimination, we narrowed the source of the leak to 1 line of code! This is of course ridiculous. It's also ridiculously funny, the effort we put in to locate this one single line of stupid code!!!!! I had a good laugh afterwards.
